A Stubborn Show

Sometimes I get this feeling I want to write but then if the matter is not being understood there is no point of voicing it , but I can at least rant it out and get it over with . We recently had a research in our college, it was nothing short of a saddening experience.  The research which would never materialize to anything including buying and fostering about 10 rats per group (there were 4 groups in total). The experiment was to induce a disease in them and then watch out side effects.  The blow came when the experiment was over and ‘to be doctors ‘were more concerned about the function in which the “research” would be published rather than discuss the fate of the rats. Just so that I don’t give any false hopes of a happy ending. The rats were killed by cracking their spine. No sedation , no medication to ease their pain whatsoever. This poem was forwarded to me by an aunty.  I mention aunty although she is also a friend. Most of my interaction with literature has been in English, I keep trying now and again to read in Hindi and someday to attempt writing in Hindi. I started reading some of Prem Chand's stories but never managed to continue it. This piece in Hindi is a wholesome take on zindagi (life). A mail popped up on my notifications. I opened it  instantly as the subject was titled Urgent  The body of the mail started with . " You can achieve anything you want..." I was lacking in motivation during the time and felt this mail could provide the necessary boost; until I continued reading  "... Click on the website below to apply for our Personal Loan ." The funny thing is I actually wasted my time clicking on the link and even picked up some pointers in the event that I actually need to take a loan. Things have a way of being useful. We just need to give it time for idea to hit home.
