Sometimes I get this feeling I want to write but then if the matter is not being understood there is no point of voicing it , but I can at least rant it out and get it over with . We recently had a research in our college, it was nothing short of a saddening experience. The research which would never materialize to anything including buying and fostering about 10 rats per group (there were 4 groups in total). The experiment was to induce a disease in them and then watch out side effects. The blow came when the experiment was over and ‘to be doctors ‘were more concerned about the function in which the “research” would be published rather than discuss the fate of the rats. Just so that I don’t give any false hopes of a happy ending. The rats were killed by cracking their spine. No sedation , no medication to ease their pain whatsoever.
